Nancy Pelosi...forever political (an oldie).

What is the difference between Pelosi’s reaction to Obama bombing Libya and Trump bombing Soleimani?  (asked on Quora).

My answer.

Crickets for the former and outrage at the latter.

In short she is using bizarro world logic to justify a partisan position. Obama’s attack on the sovereign nation of Libya should have required Congressional support just as George W. Bush sought prior to the invasion of Iraq. Obama’s administration however bypassed this step completely. Pelosi should have called him out on this. She didn’t.

The attack on Soleimani, who has for several decades been waging war against US forces OUTSIDE HIS HOME COUNTRY (by masterminding Iran’s proxy forces), was a legitimate strike against a man who has much American and non-American blood on his hands. Trump was acting within his role as the executive leader entrusted with the defense of the nation. Pelosi should have supported this.

Her actions when juxtaposing these two events is indicative of someone who is either a hypocrite or a moral midget or both. Shame on her.
