Infection rate in the UK may be as high as 10% of the population (past and present)
The following data comes from the UK. The source is reputable - University of Cambridge (in partnership with the Public Health England....PHE). it estimates that the number infected in England at 6.5 million (this is a cumulative number and includes current and past infections). Dividing the death number for England into 6.5 million gives a % lethality of 0.5% which is in the range noted elsewhere in Europe.

Boston antibody study points to a 10% infection rate as well.
Boston area study.
1 in 10 tested positive for the antibodies.
1 in 40 have the virus now.
Consistent with UK data.
