Which American President had the best health?

This question was asked on Quora. People were as usual making judgement calls based on very little specifics.

Here is my answer.

I am not sure how one can even answer this question without having access to the medical records for each President and lets face it now of us are privy to the full details here.. Yes..that includes you Dr. Sanjay Gupta.
Does anyone know what Trump’s LDL/HDL ratio is? How about Obama’s prostrate cancer enzyme markers? Does Bill Clinton suffer from any pre-conditions? I don’t know. Neither do you.
One could hazard a guess with respect to an observation of their respective physiques and exercise regimes but that doesn’t tell us the full story,
Jogging aficionado James Fixx dropped dead at 52. He was as fit as a ‘fiddle’ or so it seemed. Running guru Jim Fixx’s death shocked the nation - Villages-News.com
Hell…Winston Churchill smoked cigars, ate what he wanted was clearly obese and lived to the ripe old age of 91 with full mental faculties. How did he do it? Maybe he had the heart of a race horse.
Sorry Quora people but pictures of Barack Obama slam dunking a Basketball does not count as a medical bill of health. Impressive as that is. Neither for that matter do shots of George HW Bush parachuting in the twilight of his elder years. A great stunt but nothing more. I certainly couldn’t do it at my much younger age.
Remember top athletes in seemingly peak conditions have dropped dead of heart attacks. Others have succumbed to cancer or strokes. Underlining conditions are key. Genetics is a big factor.
In addition one can linger on for years with poor health and a compromised existence.
Having said that it would probably be in DJT’s best interests to lose twenty pounds or so. Excess weight at his age (or any age) is never a good idea. His physician did however give him a clean bill of health two years ago. Dr. Ronny Jackson's glowing bill of health for Trump
What we do know is that the statistics game favours the younger person in the health lottery which is why both an extended Trump Presidency and a possible Biden presidency are a concern. All the more so with Biden as the evidence for cognitive decline is mounting.
